I mean with both idea's it would be useful so i do know where friends are :D and like If they are AFK or in a game/lobby <3 :p

The party system is already in development.

Exactly my thoughts. I have never seen the first idea requested before but have always thought about that problem. I would love it. This could be a very informative adition, it would be hard to implement but would be soooooo worth it!

/party i do believe it was confirmed that it will be added im not sure however if i remember right someone from the Dev team said they are working on that

/f list is already added, and it will tell whenever they are logged in or logged out too ( people on your friends list ) and You can friend msg them
