Hi, I think it's a problem on Bedrock only, because on Java you've vanilla spectator gui.
However, it's still a good suggestion, because vanilla gui is not perfect at all, and Bedrock doesn't have that feature anyway.

I agree. This would be super useful for larger maps so spectators do not have to fly all the way across.

Honestly, I don't really like this idea
Spectator mode is already a bit unfair as it's so making it even easier to track players isn't the best move cuz some people love camping or setting up clever traps and spectators constantly flying around or teleporting just ruins their strategies and everyone gets a tracker compass at the end of the game anyway.
Adding this would just hurt the fairness of the match for a lot of players.

To me spectator mode feels like legal cheating
Especially if you're in party with ur friends and talking on Discord or something similar.
