All Networks Spectate command

Hello CubeCrafters!

I would like to suggest a simple command: To be able to join matches as spectator instead of playing the match (stats don't get affected since you're not joining as a player).

This is going to benefit some people like those who want to watch people play matches and those who want to search for cheaters and rule breakers to report them for example.

What are your thoughts on this suggestion? Let me know in the comments

I totally agree with this suggestion! Adding a spectator command would be amazing, especially for catching rule breakers and cheaters on CubeCraft. It would make reporting much easier and more effective. Great idea!

Hi, in my opinion ability to spectate players should be added, but it should be limited only to friends because it can be abused by stream snipers for example. Also even if you join cheater’s game, there’s a high chance they’ll turn all their cheats off because as player you don’t have any ability to hide from them.

However, if this suggestion is mainly for catching rule breakers, something like Atlas should be considered instead of spectate command.

I think there's an option within the settings menu to allow or disallow spectators for your games.

This would be incredible; in fact, it already exists, but only for mods. It would be great for members. I personally would see a 70% increase in macro/drag players.

I completely agree with your suggestion but I want to add an important privacy idea, Players should have a setting like "All" or "Only Friends" or "Off" to control who can spectate them so they don't get annoyed but with one critical exception, If a player receives multiple in-game cheat reports the staff team and the anti-cheat system should always bypass the "Off" setting so people can still spectate and report them, ensuring that cheaters can't use this privacy option to hide their hacks.
