I think a good idea for Skywars would be to have like a modded version that you could play on. This would be a nice contrast to the teams/ mega mode, especially for somebody that enjoys craze! This new Skywars mode would allow for people that maybe cannot get the chaos version to have a chance playing Skywars with a new dimension of intensity!
Possible Items:
Surprise! - A pumpkin head that you can use to hit players twice with. It will inflict gyration (make them spin) for 3 seconds! Perfect for a Peter rabbit like getaway or a surprise attack!
Over the Rainbow! A rainbow that launches a player 7 blocks into the air when used to hit. Perfect for that extra heart of damage on the other person during PvP. ( 7colours, 7 blocks launched into the air!)
Not quite a Paper Aeroplane - An aeroplane flight gone wrong! An invisible trap set on the ground that covers 4 blocks of land. When stepped on, the victim will get launched away. Perfect to protect you when opening a chest. That second extra in the chest could win you the game! If not, the creeper like launch from the trap will be sure to knock that impossible to kill person in diamond armour off the islands!
Jewellery to the face! - A low durability gun that will shoot gold/iron nuggets at the other person, inflicting two whole hearts of damage with no armour. You might need to pick one of those nuggets up to replace your broken tooth!!
