The other day, my team and I were dealing with someone who made a skyfort (and proceeded to tnt any attempts to come up to them). I warned them, as I am required to do, before reporting them. However, when I send the snapshots in, the report was denied. I got "Video evidence is required in order to get a camper punished. Screenshots could be easily tampered with and could be taken out of context.". While I simply redid the report with video instead, why are screenshots an option if they're not allowed? I think removing that option would help reporters know that screenshots aren't allowed so we dont waste our time reporting someone.

I think it ain't necessary to remove it, as aditional information can be given by screenshots.
Scenario, you stopped recording and he afterwards starts swearing. In staid of making another thread for him swearing you can add the screenshots for more evidence.

You need video evidence because its hard for a moderator to see is he really Camping/Skybasing if they are wrong, it may be Staaf Abuse, you can contact the Staff member if you think this is wrong, he will give you more information about it.

-Thanks

I do agree since it will be confusing thinking why is there an option but cannot use it.

Please re-read the thread, she is suggesting that they remove the option to add screenshots in reports for campers since they don't take screenshots but you still have the option.

I agree with this, it won't hurt the report system or anyone. And indeed, they don't accept screenshots for the ''Camp/Skybase'' offence, because the offence requires video evidence. So why is it actually an option?

The whole reason as to why screenshots are accepted for Trolling/Camping/Griefing is due to the fact that you are able to report chat trollers with screenshots.

However, I will talk to Andy to see if we are able to make seperate reporting reasons for these offences. :)
