but i don't need those friend spots cause i have no friends other than my siblings
/fly isn't that useful to me and i get spammed in lobbies
the extra features have no use to me since Eggwars Is Life and will always be and gold gives me everything i need

some could be impatient others may have bought theirs during a previous sale, or maybe they just wanted to help the server

by directly donating and not purchasing

I understand what you mean. If you are young and don't have a job it could indeed be difficult to buy a rank. However, donations are needed to keep the server running.
You can wait for a sale and maybe buy the rank during that period :)
