Party Chat on Bedrock

Hi everyone,

today I looked up the party commands by typing /party help, and the command /p chat appeared in the list. I know it's a feature on Java but we currently don't have the permission to use it on Bedrock (see screenshots). I'm actually curious why we don't have the permission to use it? Hope a staff member could elaborate this if there's a special reason for it

My suggestion would be to enable (or implement) it for everyone, because it can be really hard currently to communicatie to other party members in some games or even with people that have just been added to the party but not in the same game yet.

We also can't communicate via /msg or /fmsg because those commands also don't work (also seem to exist though)

Microsoft doesn’t allow private chats for featured servers I believe.

They can fix the /fmsg as well so you can private message friends who arent in your game. But I totally agree about the party chat!

They're not allowed to because of partner agreement with miscrosoft (have read this from old posts about this)

Damn I’ve looked it up and you guys are right. Pretty weird that it isn’t allowed imo, but there’s nothing to do about it I guess. Thanks for the replies though
