Hello I’ve been thinking about such a suggestion that can help to get more players to the server.

In order for old players to come back they would like something that they used to play such as Java update from 1.8 to 1.21, where majority of java players have left/stopped playing the server due to the Hit regeneration so my idea is to add a Mode called OG,

Once you join this mode it will transfer you to different but owned by CubeCraft ( you can only join the server by entering the main server and choose the OG Mode ) where in this mode for Java players the Hit system will change from 1.21 to 1.8 and bring back the old CC with its UI and the Scoreboards like literally how it used to be before.

For Bedrock you can bring back the capes as the majority of the players have voted to bring the capes back to the game, also to bring back the fall damage after the combo I’ve seen a video of it and it’s impressive

I mean this could help to bring back old players to come and play again especially in Java as it used to be ( 25,000 - 30,000 ) 19,000 in Eggwars.

Great suggestion and I think there will be a lot of OG players returning too and even some new gen kids to experience what we (OG's) experienced back in the day

Coming from an unc, I love the idea of OG Cubecraft returning in some way shape or form, however I do think an entire different server/mode is too much, given the player count. Sure, the news of OG Cubecraft having made a return will give the player count a good bump, I feel as it would still be too much.

If I were in control, I would bring OG Cubecraft back as an event for like a month or 2. I think this will create a serious rise in players due to OG players coming to take a look, and a lot of new players like you said. And I'm sure at least a good few of them will fall back in love and stay in touch with the community :)

Either way, I definitely hope we will see something related to what Cubecraft was like back in the day!

Actually I pretty liked your idea but doing this will cost them a lot of money, I said this because creating a new server is easier than removing some plugins due to the versions so idk No clues.
