Inactive Ocelots in sky block won’t follow me off of the jungle isle

I have tried to get my cats to follow me off of the jungle island but they stop a few grass blocks away from my bridge. The bridge is made of oak slabs. Any idea why? Anyone else have this issue?

Have you break the ocelot spawner to test and see if they then move away from the island. Do they also not teleport to you if you go too far away?

They don’t teleport to me if I go off the island. I’ll try breaking the spawned later though. Thank you!

The original cats I tamed on the jungle island still won’t follow me off of the island even after destroying the spawner and then trying with it put somewhere else. I could just deal with it and just have a tamed cat from where I put the spawner next…

If you place the ocelot spawner on a new island, let an ocelot spawn then tame into a cat, does that cat follow you? - Or is it anywhere the spawner is, the cats overall just don't follow.
