Need help buying rank

So its not as simple as it sounds, The other day I tried to buy emerald and everything in the payment was going right until it asked for ID and a payment receipt. I don't trust this because ive bought multiple things online and nothing has ever asked for this. I went on cube craft and asked some people who have ranks if it asked them for ID and receipt, and they said no! Then I talked to some people who also had the same problem and they said its probably a scam so they didn't buy either. One guy even said that he gave you guys the info and he never received his rank. Of course he got a refund but his says not to try.
Can anyone look into this? Thanks!

I would recommend Gift cards, a lot more safe in my opinion.
