Messaging on cubecraft

I would really like if u could msg anyone on the server without them being your friend. And I little of topic here but would like you could put a message on the forums that would played on everyone's screen. This is basically like a /shout command. Example: iflawlessturtle: can a mod or helper lock this thread.

Don't really mind the messaging thing. I'd like a block option if it was added.
That's why tagging is a thing. I don't need someone spamming "lock this thread" across my screen every two seconds.

I wouldn't really support both ideas unless some other stuff are added to support it.

1. If you could message anyone on the server without them being friends :
   • Staff would get spammed
   • Players can harass someone and they won't be able to ignore it without a /ignore command
   • Spam in game/spam to distract you etc
2. Shout command :
   • If everyone can do this, there would be random messages that do not need to be seen
   • Trolls who don't care about bans/mutes/warnings would post nasty stuff
   • Maybe it this was a certain premium feature - that would reduce the spam.

You could always tag a staff member to lock threads.

I would like to be able to message anyone (with an option to block/ignore). Sometimes after team games I got friend requests from my teammates and I don't really want to accept them but I'd still like to know what they wanted to say.
Don't really understand the /shout command, but that seems very annoying (cubecraft has quite a lot of players).
"Would you like these things added?" Maybe you should have added individual options for your two suggestions, I can't really vote now.
