I think that the changes CubeCraft have made so far are some good ones.

But what is with the matance could someone fill me in?!

Parkour, Factions, Skyblock, Creative and Ultra Hardcore are currently in maintenance. These aren't small gamemodes and require a lot of coding. The developers are doing their best to bring them back as soon as possible. FreeBuild's release date they're aiming for should be around 21th of september. (FreeBuild is Factions, Skyblock and Creative.)

Games that are under maintenance are being updated by the Developers. For example free build has been under maintenance for a very long time, fortunately it will be back this summer :)

I personally don't know when UHC and Parkour are coming back.

UHC and Parkour will not be done on the 21th of september. I just... umm... forgot a few words in my reply. ^.^
