Lag Problems Since New Update?

Ever since the new Tower Defence Update, I seem to be lagging from about 5 minutes in the game. Gets so bad that I have to disconnect because I can't do anything. I'm not sure if this is a problem with myself or the game. Just wanted to know if anyone else has experienced this. I've never before had problems with lag playing TD.

I have also a little bit more lag, but I can still playing Tower Defence. I advise you if there is many lag for restarting your minecraft.

I haven't played tower defence since the update but if you experience lag Id advice you to install optifine as it reduces lag and boosts fps. It worked for me when I had a bad computer. I hope it will help for you too!

Also a main source might be particles which you can chose to turn off with optifine or you could click on the crafting table than chose the particle settings to reduce lag

Well than you can lower your render distance so that the mobs your team sends don't render fully and just kill the ones on your side also once again particle settings can decrease any particle lag
