Kit Redundancy in OP Eggwars

I feel like the leather armour for the Egg Armour kit should be given protection V on op mode as to not make it completely useless.

Nope.
Choose the right kit for the right mode. For all modes, the Healer and Debuffer kits work well.

I've seen this suggested and argued in the past. It's better just to have access to different kits and choose a different one if the game is going to be OP.

Just pick the right kit for the right modes. Personally normally I use egg armor. Then in OP I use money bag, and in Hardcore I use healer kit. Just switch your kits according to the modes.
