Recently, I have been working through the achievements on tower defence, until I came to the "true challenge" one. For it one must "Send one giant within the first 15 minutes of the game, without ever upgrading your gold mine, or building any towers".
I did the maths, and my conclusion was: A giant costs 6000 gold, and 1500 xp to unlock. Zombies are the most efficient way of getting xp, at the rate of 12 zombies (120 coins) = 60 xp. This means 3000 gold is needed to aswell, meaning the giant requires a total of 9000 gold to get right?
With the lowest tier of gold mine (the one you must have) you get 5 gold per second, so 300 per minute. 300 x 15 = 4500. You get 4500 gold in the 15 minutes, which is only half what you need. I am sure there is no other way to get more gold, making this chalenge impossible!
If anyone knows how to complete the challenge, please tell me!
