Image Signature

A long time ago, on a forums far far away, players could set their signature as a picture, however this was removed, and from what I heard it was from players using massive images.

Now, as some players may have noticed users will put youtube videos in their signature and it sets it to a certain sizes so it doesn't cover the whole page. So, if players can do that then why not let us again add pictures but they can't be any bigger then a certain size (the size videos get set to)?

EDIT: You can see what I mean about the video signatures as mine, maybe a little smaller then that?

Well yeah, if you want an image to be a part of your signature, not too big of course, then why not?

I have signatures disabled so I don't really care. But in my opinion signatures should be limited to 3 lines of normal sized text and no images or videos. Then I would enable them again. Each user could have a fully customizeable info page on their profile instead, I don't want to see all of that in every thread.

The forums has a vast amount of users. Imagine all those users uploading massive banners (as is usually the case) as their signature. That uses up way too many resources.

Good suggestion, I agree with this, having a picture as a signature would allow players to make good looking statuses like mods, Minecraft version, levels etc. +1 From me, Goodluck and I hope you have a wonderful day :)
