Im a big fan of CubeCraft :cube: almost since one year ago, and I have seen many hackers in all this time. I want to record videos and report them but, my graphic driver stopped working and I won´t get a new one until Christmas, sooo I can´t play until then. Meanwhile, I wanna know something that I don´t know where or who should I ask this. I think most moderators and admins will know, so im asking this in here...

What program can I use to record videos of me playing Minecraft? I know it will be usefull when I´ll be able to play again. In the meantime, I will watch videos on youtube and report the hackers I´ll see. But I wanna know this the earlier possible. Maybe the "Tech Support" wasn´t the right place to ask, but I do not know where else I can ask this to someone on this site. If someone is watching this, please answer me, and If this is not the right place to ask, tell me who can I ask this or where can I get some info about this.

Thanks and keep doing this awsome job, moderators and admins of CubeCraft
    ;)

OBS, Windows 10 default recorder (which I use, press windows key + G), FRAPS (does that even exist anymore lol), Camtasia, Bandicam.

^ Just a list of what I've seen other people use in reports.

Over my 4 or so years recording videos/moderating for different servers, I've used fraps, OBS, Overwolf, and Camtasia. Fraps is free, with limitations on recording length, resolution, and a watermark. It costs $37 USD which is the version I used. The official fraps website is here. Keep in mind, fraps uses a high bit-rate encoder, which makes large files while using minimal PC resources (CPU and RAM to be specific) so I wouldn't suggest it if you have little space for recording. OBS, on the other hand, is better in terms of file size. It, in my opinion, is really good for free software. I play at 1440p resolution, and also record with that resolution on OBS. I have a pretty good PC, so I usually leave OBS recording whenever I play. It doesn't effect frame rate much and the files come out to be about .5GB/min of video with my settings. OBS can be found here. Overwolf is a good overlay, used with TeamSpeak, that's why I used it. More info on it can be found here. Camtasia was the worst recorder I used. Keep in mind, I used it when Camtasia 7 was just released, when I used to game on a Mac. It crashed a lot whilst rendering videos, thus losing/corrupting the recording. It has now since updated to Camtasia studio 8 but is $299 USD.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Ease of use rankings would be as follows from best to worst: Fraps, Overwolf, Camtasia, and lastly OBS. Fraps and Overwolf have minimal settings to adjust and is ready to record in a few minutes after setup. Camtasia, as I remember was confusing at first, but got easier to use over time. OBS came last because overall, I can say I've spent hours upon hours of YouTube videos for "the best settings for recordings" only to find out that my PC setup was slightly different than the specific youtubers and wasn't quite what I was going for. I ended up googling all the different settings for OBS studio and set them as I wanted. Other people I've talked to haven't had many problems with OBS. I did because I'm picky with my videos. Also, if you play with a Mac, I'd suggest you look into QuickTime. It is a default media player with a built in screen recorder. Some of my friends used it. Hope this helps!

OBS is better. You get no lag in game, it's free, and you don't get the annoying www.*****.com like in BandiCam.
