Roblox is something i grew up with and Lua is a programming language [Github page for roblox's version of Lua (Luau)]

Also its just mostly that I know roblox well enough that im comfortable with what goes on over there

I completely agree with you, for me the programming language used in ROBLOX (Lua) allowed me at the time to enter the world of programming and development so I'm happy with that.

Now, with some years more, I'm exploring more complex programming code like Python and I'm enjoying and suffering it equally. ;)
