Anyone who's played tower defense since the recent update knows that turrets are ridiculously overpowered. However, I'm worried if Cube nerds the turret it's gonna be useless like it was before. So, here's an alternative way to fix it.

In vanilla Minecraft, endermen can't be hit by projectiles. Let's take advantage of this in tower defense!

Cost to Unlock: 500 xp

Level 1:
Cost: 150 coins
Health: 250
Speed: Normal (1.6)
Damage: 1
Xp reward: 25

Level 2: 818 XP
Immune to Projectiles

Cost: 550 Coins
Health: 350
Speed: Normal (1.6)
Damage: 1
Tower Invulnerability:
- Archer Tower
- Turret Tower
- Poison Tower
Xp reward: 40

Level 3: 1084 XP
Cost: 625 Coins
Health: 480
Speed: 1.6
Damage: 1
TI: Same as level 2
Xp: 44

Level 4: 1529 XP
Holds TnT
Cost: 925 Coins
Health: 625
Damage: 3 (1st hit), 1 (after that)
Xp: 48

Level 5: 2290 XP
Holds TnT
Cost: 1125 Coins
Health: 850
Damage: 5 (1st hit), 1.5 (after that)
Xp: 55

Well its the only troop apart from spiders that I think has a chance of getting past the turret tower.
By sending 1 to 3 full waves of level 5 magma cubes (slimes), you can still win even if the opponent has 20 turrets. They will kill the first form easily, but then they will multiply so fast the whole track will be filled with red goo. The turrets can only target 2 mobs at once, so they will quickly be overwhelmed. Trust me, it works, I've won around 10 games with them in desperate situations. You will need someone to send you money though, for they are very expensive. I've still managed to solo it though with regen potions. Send a full wave of level 2 slimes first for the EXP. (Surprisingly enough slimes have good coin/EXP ratio).

I like the concept though (yet I don't really understand the price of it), but maybe the Enderman should have something like a teleport ability as it really suits them. And if that's the case, they should also be invulnerable for mage towers since they will teleport a bunch if they get hit by fire

To go along with this one of my suggestions earlier in the month suggested a new mob and one of the traits was a new perk mobs could have and that was evasion, a chace at evading a towers attack plus your idea with an enderman could balance everything out, however how would endermen react to the shulkermancer?

This is a great suggestion! This will work but keep in mind this would probably be hard to do because when the endermen are shot they teleport away. So +1 but it will probably be hard to make the minecraft java code different. Unless you have a draconic bow, you cant shoot endermen.

This is a great suggestion! This will work but keep in mind this would probably be hard to do because when the endermen are shot they teleport away. So +1 but it will probably be hard to make the minecraft java code different. Unless you have a draconic bow, you cant shoot endermen.

I've seen other servers do it. (Mainly the one with player counts similar to cubecraft's and which ends with the letter x). When the endermen are shot by an arrow, they instantly teleport back, which is actually a nice visual effect.

The draconic bow is from the draconic evolution mod right?

Also, every troop I was sending, got killed by this tower.

Yes we really need troops that are immune to projectiles.
I played Tower defense some time ago, and I was so angry, because an other player placed those towers down EVERYWHERE.
Also, every troop I was sending, got killed by this tower.
Try sending level 5 slimes.

Anyway I would be less online in the forums and on minecraft due to exams. Now you might be asking, "Didn't it happen like a while ago?" Yes, but the school has to make me suffer by doing it every 2-3 months, so don't mind if I casually leave for like 2 weeks. Just need to suffer till end of may :D
