Because a lot of people got offended by it. So the management team decided to block the word so that less people get offended by it.
People always type e/z, e.z or e z anyway so doesn't matter if it's blocked or not tbh.

I guess because "wtf" isn't really targeted towards anyone as "ez" obviously is, that's just what I think. I don't know...

Then why aren't you allowed to say the word 'F**k', everyone uses 'wtf' to mean 'What the f**k' and everyone knows that, you can't say otherwise. :P
Everyone knows 'wtf' doesn't mean 'what the heck is this' people who use it know exactly what they're saying. I don't really find the word 'ez' offensive - just means the word 'easy' which to me is an ordinary every day word that people use in day to day life. People are only offended by the word 'ez' if they're childish, in my opinion.
True, but I don't get why they haven't blocked the word 'wtf' when it means 'what the f**k' which you aren't allowed to say.
