The fireplace map is only temporary. Same with Xmasparty.
If we'd keep them, it wouldn't be as special anymore.
But for players who like these maps, there are some alternatives.

Fireplace -> City
Xmasparty -> Teaparty

Besides that, you posted this thread as a suggestion but it isn't.

The map is temporary. So when Christmas is over, Fireplace will disappear.

I will be locking this though, due to the fact that keeping specially themed holiday maps around the entire season has no point. I find it much more fun to play them during the season, so that when they’re gone I can look forward to them the next year. This is why we remove them yearly, and I’m afraid it won’t be changing.
