i loaded minecraft without optifine and it didnt help at all

It is the same thing that happens to me when I enter the server, hopefully fix it.

I have been getting over 800 ping lately (according to 5zig) and I thought it was just me. Yes, the lag needs to be fixed. I can’t do anything to the point I just am taking a small break.

With him it might be because of his Internet,
But my internet is fine, I'm a 100% sure of that. But I still lag. I can play on different servers just fine but Cubecraft lags a lot.

I hitted someone like 15 times and none of it worked. We ran around like 5 minutes and he ended up killing me.

Most lag is to do with on how far away you are from the host server. The closer you are, the less lag you will get. The further you are, then you will get more lag.
I believe the host server is somewhere in France or in the UK.

It's in France.. But when you're living in the US, I can understand you're lagging.
I live in The Netherlands, so I shouldn't get so much lag I can't even hit someone.

Lag =/= low fps
Lag = Internet Problem (away from host, poorly configured router, bad net card, isp plan...)
Low FPS = Below minimum requirements (CPU/GPU problem, CPU bottlenecking GPU, etc)
