I've played cubecraft for years, and before it was very rare to see a person with cheats, now it's very common for clans to have cheaters for wars, or that they simply go teleporting around the map with kill aura and ruining everything, as I said, just 1 year ago it was very rare to see someone with cheats, and being realistic the clients with help are far ahead of the current anticheat, the anticheat we have now takes hours to ban a single person even with a lot of people reporting, it takes between 15 minutes and 5 hours, so I was thinking and thought about something like an administrator surveillance system, but it would be too tedious and difficult since there aren't many moderators and nobody wants to be watching a screen waiting for someone with cheats, so the simplest solution is to update the anticheat, and although in other modalities there are also cheaters it is still difficult to find one since the games in other modalities do not last long, but in ffa they last and many times I have seen 1-5 cheaters at the same time on a single map, please. I think I'm not the only one who's tired of logging in to play for a while to have fun and see 3 people flying around with kill auras ruining everything. I hope someone reads this.

totally agreed. There are multiple clans for hackers and cheaters now. People sharing configs on big servers, and just too many people are now switching to the cheater side.
Pls make a new banning system, you can ban innocent people so they can't come back but can't ban one cheater who isn't known for playing legit or without cheats. I'm getting banned faster for using tapes than people flying around lobby. There are too many, at some point you have to be friends with some, they're in clans and in every lobby. Then your banning the people on main accounts and making their time on cubecraft worse. Instead of punishing the cheater. Even if ban he'll come back with another account.

Just like spoofers, there is no way to report someone using ping spoofer, the only way is to make the spoofer hit you far enough with the lag reach generated by the spoofer and report them with that video, they really should do something about spoofers, there are more and more of them every day.

Yes agreed. But by adding something that bans automatically when detected spoof it might ban innocent players. I'm connected with WiFi through satellites and my ping can get up to 300ms for a short amount of time or maybe longer. It can stay that high for 10s of minutes and then drop again to my usual 50

FFA on cubecraft is totally ruined and unplayable by the amount of closet cheaters and blatant cheaters.
The anti-cheat doesn't detect any of it and ofcourse, staff doesnt play themselves to see this problem.

I know this isn't about ffa, but I ran into a hacker in eggwars solos and he was not hiding it but did he get banned? No, that is too much hard work for sentinel. /sr'd him, REPORT EXPIRES, /sr is useless, sentinel is useless, literally no point in having them.

yeah, /sr is useless, reports are deleted by themselves due to lack of evidence even if they are accompanied by fly and kill aura

Gotta disagree. Yes, there are absolute periods were sentinel does not seem to be working at all; sudden burst of hackers every other game for a week straight or some nonsense like that, but then it gets better and that usually lasts way longer. I can only assume they're constantly updating it for new workarounds cheaters find, sometimes it takes a while to stop it, but the periods with lots of hackers have always ended. In my many years on this server, it's been hacker free more than the other way around.

I've had mixed results with /sr reports, but they do help from time to time. Sometimes a mod/helper whatever also comes and bans. As for sentinel banning, you can't give it too much power... yes hackers need to go, but receiving a false ban by an automated anticheat that deals out bans a bit too aggressive could be way worse. I rather deal with hackers for a while than have an anticheat that bans the wrong people too. Having dealt with a false ban myself, it's so much worse.

And yes, of course I absolutely get annoyed at seeing the 5th hacker in a day too, and I've had my fair share of complaints about this server throughout the years, but in this area Cubecraft does very well. Every server has to deal with hackers, there is no stopping them all forever at once. It's unrealistic to expect that. It will probably always remain a cat and mouse game between servers and hackers, but Cubecraft definitely takes care of the problem.

Get a recording software or make use of Nvidia's Instant Replay feature (or software like it) and use the reports website. The overwelming majority of my reports through there have been accepted and resulted in either bans or warnings.

I have changed since the post. I still think /sr needs to be improved but sentinel is ok, because I have either reported the person online and it turns out they get a sentinel ban or they get banned soon after a record the report

I agree with you — hacks such as reach, aimbot, anti-KB, kill aura, fly, and speed have unfortunately become more common these days. However, there are ways to deal with this. The best approach is to record clear evidence of the player (a short clip of the hacks in action) and then report them using the /sr command in-game or through the report system. This way, staff can review the evidence and take the appropriate action.
