Java Featured Games are going too fast

Hi hi,

I know more people already mentioned it, but I wanted to make an official thread about this. From my perspective I think the featured games are going too fast now. Only 2 days of playtime is too short. How about 3-4 days? I agree that 14 days of playtime is way too long, but I think only 2 days is a little bit exorbitant. I mean, people also have school/work so they can't play everyday. Give people some more time to play their favourite featured game.

For the thread: I agree. Maybe instead of 3-4 days 7? I think that's a pretty reasonable time. It's not too long but also not too short So people can really enjoy the game.

Hey, a lot of discussion went into choosing the amount of time we should give features games. First I was against every 2 days as it was too fast for me, but then I understood that it’s the best option. If they are every 2 days, this allows for all of the featured games to be selected, meaning more people are happy due to their favourite game is back.

There are currently 12 games to be selected into the featured games slot, if it’s every 2 days, there’s a chance that your favourite games will appear at least twice a month. Different games have different weights to appear based on their previous popularity. I’m not saying what the featured games are, but the 12 games do not contain all of the removed games from the Big Change. This is because those games relied on a specific piece of infrastructure and it would be difficult to make them work again.

The difficulty with the featured games is that you will never make it perfect for everyone. It’s either too fast for people to play their favourite game or it’s too slow that their favourite game doesn’t appear as often. As it stands, we believe that 2 days is the most ideal period for it. Of course this can be changed in the future, but as of now, it’s staying at 2 days.

I still don't agree with it, but I understand it from your point of view. It's true that you can never make it perfect for everyone, but there's a major difference between 14 days of playtime first and only 2 days of playtime now. I really think you can make people happy by increasing the playtime, but as I said I understand it from your point of view.

Make it two rotation system, one for big games (like blockwars, sg, blockband, bingo, etc) one for former arcade games
