So, I really LOVE the new minigame came out called eggwars. well. minigame..
The whole game is quite amazing except for a few annoying things that I hope gonna be changed soon.
- the weak egg.
At the start of your game you probably build straight away to the middle to get some diamonds for you generator. But the problem is that there are also people running like crazy to other people their islands to kill their egg with just 1 single hit from their fists. I do understand that you have to protect your egg and you could get some sandstone around it, but that is not going to help you get any diamonds since you and your team have to protect the egg 24/7. I personally would like to see that the egg has some sort of a grace period OR that the egg has more lives, or it takes a while with a pickaxe to take it down (like obsidian)
- punch bows.
So, after you survived the first 4 minutes you might have your diamond generator up to level 2. after a while it gets level 3 and you and your team harvest diamonds and get gear. You probably also take those damn punch bows. I personally think they ruïn the game a bit since you simply cannot build a bridge to them. a fully charged punch 1 bow will hit for a good 3/4 HP (1 hp = 0.5 hearth) so how are you going to go to an enemy island with 4-7 people protecting it?
- killing enemy team late.
So, you got your iron gear, diamond sword and maybe some super-golden apples. so you run to their base (after you might got past the enemy firing arrows with punch bows) and you eat you gapple and attack them.
Now that you killed them all they respawn instantly and block you mining the obsidian. so how are you winning that? well, you just have to hope for them making a mistake but that can take a while.
But further the game is amazing, congrats to the builders of the maps and everybody who worked on the game.
