Honestly, diamond armor is borderline useless anyway. If you're wasting 32 diamonds on one piece of armor instead of the proper things to spend it on, you're not doing too good of a job with resource management or you're just delaying the game for no reason. IMO diamond armor shouldn't even be in the game. It drags the game out so long. Either that or remove the enchants in OP or remove Enchanted Golden Apples.

No. It’s perfectly fine the way it is. As said above it’s kind of pointless but can be useful. Plus it’s not OP mode for nothing.
