Hi, I mean I just kinda wanna know what people think and how they feel about the egg wars shop update, I mean is this one better or worse, or does it just take time to adjust to?

Yeah I have noticed that to, but I think it might just be something you need to get used to.
This is a better and faster update, and there are no problems.
On PC this update is amazing. I don't have to scroll down after each click and the menu doesn't re-open whenever I do something. The back button being all the way on the bottom was something that annoyed me in the old shop. It was literally faster to just close and re-open the shop. Being able to see my inventory while in the shop is also very useful. Also, did you know that you can shortcut with your keyboard [ ] to switch between tabs? This is amazing!
However, I've seen people on consoles complain that the controls are weird there. So that's something they should definitely fix.

You know that’s fair, I personally play on pc and didn’t even consider the how this would affect people on controller. But I did not know that keyboard shortcut, thanks for letting me know! @1Kekz Will definitely use!
Yeah, I'm on controller. Let me tell you...It seems sort of mid. I mean It is very frustrating for me personally, because it messes up my shop time (it triples it) and then I also don't have the amount of iron i need memorized for the rush. I think it's more now anyways. I do like how you don't get forced out of the page, but for controller players to use the shop we have to open it, go left (yeah, we don't auto start in the shop we have to go left to enter it.) then the whole when you tab over to another shop menu you stay on the same level of item (for example if you buy and iron sword and then tab over to the other shop menu for chain your cursor begins on the chain option not the lowest.) It is good for buying the lowest of all item cause you can just spam switch tabs and press A to get all the basic gear, but buying stuff beyond that is hard. If this is confusing for anyone I can upload some footage of me trying to use it. Im going to post a commentary video about it next week though.
It would be confusing to new players. To fix this, open on Favorites if any Favorite slots are in use, and open on Blocks if no Favorite slots are in use.
Yeah thats true actually, but doing it like you said could probably be a good compromise I would say

Honestly, I think it’s a bit of both. The update feels different, so it’s naturally a little awkward at first, but that doesn’t automatically make it worse. Some parts seem more streamlined, while others might take time to get used to depending on how you played before. I feel like once people adjust and learn the new layout, opinions might change. Curious to see how everyone feels after playing with it for a while.
You go to favorite items (nether star) and then pick the slot you want and pick the new item you want. If you already have one selected I think you just do the same and it changes
