There are XenForo addons that you can add to your forum but they are made by community members, so I don’t know if they’re safe.

It's a hardcoded value, not something that we are likely to dive into for such a minor thing. Even if we were to go ahead and edit the value directly it would only get overwritten the next time the forums updated.
