BlockWars Giga - Domination & New Maps!
We've added a new gamemode to our BlockWars Giga gamemode, called "Domination", now in Beta!
The aim of the game in Domination is to capture the zones within the map. The longer you control the zones, the more points your team will earn. The team that reaches the point cap wins! - You'll see five zones; stand in the zone to start the capture. Once you have captured a zone, you'll start earning points. If an enemy enters the zone, it'll stop the control, and the points will stop. You must stay in a zone to keep the capture. Do you think you can control all the zones?
BlockWars Domination.
Along with the new Domination gamemode, we've added some new maps to our other BlockWars gamemodes, such as BlockWars Bridges & BlockWars CTF Duels! - Some of you may notice these are from the previous 10v10 BlockWars version; we didn't want those awesome maps to go to waste!
Private Games - Access to Inactive Maps!
Last month, we released Private Games to the public in Beta. The maps available in Private Games are currently the same as the ones available in the public map selection. That's about to change! - Inactive maps are now available on Java & Bedrock in Private Games. This does not include Seasonal maps.
Our Java network will have the most inactive maps available due to the vast number of maps available. SkyWars, EggWars & Lucky Islands now have a massive catalogue of maps available in Private Games! - And some include bigger team sizes, classic old CubeCraft maps and previous versions before revamps!
Bedrock will still see some games get inactive maps available in the Private Game map selection, but due to most maps being added to Bedrock remaining forever, the number of inactive maps is not comparable to CubeCraft Java
- Solo SkyWars is the only gamemode that shares the same pool of maps between networks. This means you'll see previously Java-exclusive maps available on Bedrock in Private Game map selection, technically making them "new" to Bedrock. You'll see 14 new Solo EggWars maps, and 33 new Solo SkyWars, plus more in other games!
Lobby Assets Updated to Custom Blocks!
We've just refreshed our city-themed lobby assets. Custom blocks were introduced to CubeCraft in the form of our game portals last month. We've expanded that to our main lobby, you'll notice the lampposts, tables & benches are now blocks. We've even added extras such as single chairs. Check them out!

Bugs/Tweak ZoneThroughout August, many bugs fixes & changes have occurred across our network. Below are just some of them!
- BlockWars/MinerWare/Disasters - Added pre-lobby support for Private Games (Bedrock/Java).
- Private Games - Fixed users having access to non-public maps (Bedrock/Java).
- Private Games - Pre-lobby map selection now supports map favourites (Bedrock).
- Global - Fixed map selection menus having inconsistent ordering (Bedrock/Java).
- Survival Games - Fixed no maps appearing in private game map selection (Bedrock).
- Skyblock Hub - Improved multi-server support. When joining the hub, you'll always be put on the same server that everyone on your profile is on as well. This will stop you being sent to random different servers, and not being able to meet up in the hub. (Bedrock/Java).
- Skyblock - A bunch of save fixes, causing errors when transferring between servers. (Bedrock/Java).
- Global - Fixed an issue stopping Subscriptions gifts being gifted if the user already has a permanent rank (Bedrock).
- BlockWars Bridges - Fixed an issue which allowed players to break the map (Bedrock).
- Disasters - Fixed an issue where Disasters was missing from private games NPC (Bedrock).
- Global - You no longer need to re-log/wait to receive permissions from newly purchased ranks (Java/Bedrock).
- Survival Games - Added pre-lobby support for Private Games (Bedrock).
- Survival Games - Fixed intermittent lag spikes (Bedrock).
- Survival Games - Fixed sometimes not being able to see the world when joining (Bedrock).
- BedWars - Fixed BedWars rank not being able to create private games (Bedrock).
- Survival Games - Fixed sometimes being sent to solo when joining teams (or vice versa) (Bedrock).
- Private Games - Removed minimum level requirement to join (Java/Bedrock).
- Free for All- Fixed an issue with not being able to select a spawn from the kit selection menu (Java).
- Global/SkyWars - Fixed an issue with smithing tables not working (Java/Bedrock).
- BlockWars - Fixed an issue with pistons at world borders causing block duplication (Bedrock).
- BlockWars - Fixed an issue with the Team Deathmatch scoreboard being misaligned (Bedrock).
- Global - Fixed an issue where sometimes you wouldn't be placed in your cage (Java/Bedrock).
- Private Games - Fixed not being able to switch maps while in the pre-lobby (Java/Bedrock)
- Private Games - Added a UI which allows private game owners to force players onto certain teams. You can access this from the game settings menu (Bedrock/Java).
- BedWars - Fixed an issue with Overgrown & Venice missing from Solo map selection (Bedrock).
- Private Games - Fixed an issue where some maps were missing from map selection in various games (Java/Bedrock).
- Private Games - Fixed an issue where old seasonal maps appeared in map selection (Java).
- Survival Games - Fixed not staying with your party when joining team games (Bedrock)
- Private Games - Fixed team assignment not working when people are in parties (Java/Bedrock)
- Global - Fixed sometimes being kicked out of games when joining and not being re-queued (Java/Bedrock)
- Skyblock - Fixed an issue with being able to hear sounds from other players' islands (Java/Bedrock).
- Free for All - Fixed an issue with player skins randomly changing to Steve (Bedrock).
- Global - Fixed an issue with Big Dripleafs not behaving correctly (Bedrock).
- MinerWare - Fixed an issue with Porkins in "Evade the Pig" microgame going invisible. Also re-enabled it! (Bedrock).
- Skyblock - Fixed an issue with being unable to place a Skyblock shop (Bedrock).
- EggWars - Removed unachievable achievements (Java).
- Global - Fixed sometimes not being able to invite players to parties (Bedrock/Java).
- Global - Fixed friends not appearing online sometimes in the friends list (Bedrock/Java).
