You obviously have not even played the game in 1.9 yet... Whilst blocking with a shield you cannot take any damage from arrows. You can walk onto someone's island, no matter how much they fire arrows at you, and for only 3 diamonds?? Please have some knowledge about what you argue about.

I know that their are some people that want the server to be 1.9 but you can maybe make a Skywars 1.8 and Skywars 1.9 and that with every gamemode?
That maybe a good idea because right now everyone is hating on the 1.9 update...
So I ask you very friendly, can you please update the server back to 1.8? Because Cubecraft is the only fun server out there so please go back to 1.8 because I dont know what I have do do now?

All the skill from attacking is gone, and now getting somebody's egg is so easy. All the strategy of the game is gone.

I have given it a chance. i have tried over 10 games of eggwars and 8 survival games. On eggwars i used to be able to kill full irons with only leather because i am fairly good at pvp. now with 1.9 It is basically impossible unless they are absolutely horrible at pvp. same with survival game, whoever gets best stuff wins for sure. Not how it should be. dont people that they just need to give it a chance. Im 90% sure most of these people have tried. And no, Its not only the sword cooldown that i hate about 1.9. Minecraft doesn't have PvP with
shields. Sorry but that is not minecraft. And yes it does have a big strat, Get the best gear and u win. That is not skill, That is camping in eggwars case. if i were cubecraft i would change all pvp back to 1.8. 1.9 ruined my favorite gamemode of all time, Eggwars. It just isn't at all the same or nearly as much fun as it used to be. So before you tell people to stop saying that 1.9 ruined cubecraft because they haven't given it a chance, think, Do you know what they have done? I have played cubecraft for a LONG time and have tried 1.9. I am still posting relies to this forum because without telling cubecraft what they want, which is what the admins/owner should have done instead of just going straight to 1.9 without player options becouse us players are what make the server possible, I Know that the only way to get someone to change something is to ask them. So stop discouraging people from posting on the forums and sharing their opinion.

We’ve just dropped our Minecraft 1.9 update! Please read this whole post before before posting!
We’ve decided to NOT support both 1.8 and 1.9 client as we want to embrace the new features in 1.9 and make the most out of them! If you’re still on a 1.8 client you won’t be able to join the server from now on so make sure you update your client to join the fun :)
We’ve tested current gamemodes, and upcoming ones, with Minecraft 1.9 and we feel the new update is really cool. There’s new blocks and block mechanics (Such as single glass panes now being a glass “pole” - check it out at Dance Off in the Lobby) so our builders can play with these to make you cooler maps!
We think the new 1.9 PVP mechanics are pretty nifty, we're going to monitor how it effects balance and gameplay over the coming days so you'll notice that we may tweak one or two things as time progresses!

"I can't connect to the server because it says I need to update"
- You need to update your client to 1.9 - To do this, on the launcher screen select "Profile Editor", double click your Minecraft username, and change the version to "Use Latest Version". Save the profile, login and get playing
On a side note, I'd like to apologise for the network instability issues we've suffered over the past week. We've recently moved data centre to try and improve connectivity (Reducing lag). With this we had a few teething issues. We've solved almost all of these issues now so you should notice everything improving.
On a more positive side note, now we've moved data centre and sorted 1.9 we've got our dev team working full out to bring out new features and games (yes, including FreeBuild) so prepare to be amazed at some of the stuff we've got coming for you! A lot of stuff was put on hold due to the datacenter move/1.9 update.

We hebben besloten niet 1.8 én 1.9 te ondersteunen, omdat we de nieuwe functies in 1.9 willen aannemen en het beste ervan willen maken! Als je nog steeds 1.8 gebruikt zal je niet in staat zijn om de server te joinen, dus zorg dat je je client update om van het plezier te genieten :simple_smile:
We hebben huidige en aankomende gamemodes getest met Minecraft 1.9 en we vinden de nieuwe update heel cool. Er zijn nieuwe blokken en blok mechanica (Zoals enkele ruiten die nu glas ''palen'' zijn - kijk maar bij de Danc-Off in de Lobby). Dus onze bouwers kunnen hiermee spelen zodat ze nog coolere maps kunnen maken!
We denken dat de nieuwe 1.9 PVP methode best handig is, we zullen er de komende dagen op letten wat voor effect het op de balans en gameplay heeft, dus je zal merken dat we soms één of twee dingen zullen aanpassen na verloop van tijd.

No, it has gone. Tell me, why would you bother to plan a strategic attack when you can just walk onto someone's island. Strolling onto someone's island unharmed is a not 'different strategy'.
Client 1.9 remove please. I not pc gamer, i give lag. I am playing Minecraft 1.8
This version is really lousy, if they were smart , they would put the 1.8 and 1.9 and I'm sure 99% of the community would play relates the 1.8 ,.

I like minecraft 1.9 it is fun and I think cube craft should stay on it. SAID NO ONE EVER IN THE HISTORY OF CUBE CRAFT
People Cubecraft, we must be realistic, although they enjoy it the update to mc 1.9, you have to give account error they committed, the server was one of the greatest few days ago, When I went there was always more than 10k peoples! But now saddens me to see maximum 6k connected. Please, it is not necessary to 1.8, only to be that PvP version, and see how people return to Cubecraft loved before.
