Hey there people! Some of you might be aware by now, we're hosting weekly competitions and events on our Discord server (Click on that "Discord" text to join!).

We want to ask you all, do you have a challenge idea? If yes, now it's time to share them with us! We're hoping to make these events fun for you all, so your suggestions are very much appreciated!

What a cool idea..! (Thank you @Nathie for suggesting that I make a suggestion haha)

Here are two additional ideas that have come to mind more recently:

1) Longest time in-game (not just afk in a lobby, would need to be actually playing a round of some game for it to count). This seems theoretically possible as the time for each individual gamemode is already recorded, so it would just involve adding them up over a week.

2) Treasure hunt. This would be less of a competition, but just a fun event for everyone to attempt. The idea is to create a series of clues, leading to a chest containing the next.
If adding chests is difficult, perhaps the clues could be posted all at once, but as riddles that require knowledge from a certain gamemode on the server to understand.
The reason I like this idea is it feels very easy to adapt into a format that would work, while also being a bit more ambitious than some others. I guess the obvious downside is that it would require a fair amount of time to organise, so perhaps it would only be possible to host very occasionally.

My suggestions~

1. Some kind of trivia challenge, but obscure/Cubecraft-specific where we can't really look up the answers.
2. Fastest time to finish a game~
3. Fastest time to build a tent
4. Literary contest, give a prompt (something Cube-related...!?) and have everyone submit a short story or poem on the prompt!
5. Small art competition, maybe also with a given prompt.
6. Little bingo with relatively easy in-game tasks.
7. Build/pixel-art challenge with a given specific theme. Maybe put some artificial limitations (such as having to include a specific block, etc...) to make it more challenging.
8. A challenge where we try to get the best/most funny clip on Cubecraft!
9. Best screenie challenge.
10. Scavenger hunt where we have to go around to different places on the server and take pictures...

Some of these are more subjective or isn't really possible to pick winners, but I still think it would be fun!

Hi! I'm very interested in micro-events and would like to offer my ideas for EggWars challenges
1. Break as many eggs as possible in a week.
The winner is the one who breaks the most eggs in EggWars in a week.
2. Win without a sword.
need to win a game of EggWars without using a sword. Only a pickaxe or just your hand are allowed.
3. Sniper with a bow.
Throw as many enemies into the void as possible using a bow.
4. Maximum resources.
Collect the most gold, diamonds and emeralds in one game.
5. Bridge builder.
Build the longest or most creative bridge from your base.
6. No armor and food is "hardcore"
need to win a game of EggWars without armor, without food and without deaths. good luck to all
all these challenges were tested and carried out at my competitions a year or more ago

This would be a fun, skill-based challenge where players show off their best single-block clutch moments, like last-second saves in SkyWars, EggWars, or any game mode with a deadly fall.


-The clip should clearly show the fall and the clutch in one smooth take.

-Maximum length: 20 seconds, no edits.

-Bonus points for creative style, spins, camera angles, risky setups, etc.

Having a safe and fair experience in the server is essential when it comes to having fun in CubeCraft. And some people find it annoying that they find those rule breakers, and can not do anything about it. We can report, but most of the time, these reports are done via /sr in the server, and are most of the time ignored, or mods do not have time to review them. Or maybe we even cought them on camera but we don't want to spend too much time making a forum account.

Well, let's make Rule Breakers be more ,,useful" to meet with the brand new Microevent: Rule Breaker Bingo!

Members will get a square with a few possible Rule Breakers, that the competitors need to find, in order to complete a row. Each row will get you 1 point, and the more rows you make, the more point you will get!

Possible questions:
- What if more people complete all the possible rows? Who will win the placement?
We will check who completed the rows first, by following the date which the submissions were done, and like so we can fix it!
- Where can i upload the video/picture of the rule breaker which i found?
The proof needs to be sent on the Discord Microevent Forum! If your upload reaches the MB limit, then you can post it as an Unlisted video (if you want) on any social media you want, and pass us the link of the video proof.
- What if i find someone in the CubeCraft server who broke more rules, and helped me with more tiles in my bingo list?
If you found someone like so, then you can only put them in 1 square of the action which they've done. So you can not use them more for more tiles completions.

Notes and rules:
- Your videos/images must have all 4 screen corners visible
- You are not allowed to be the one cheating in game, just so you can complete a square/row
- All games must be done in real games. Not private games
- Having a friend to help you out in any way for the cheater hunt is not allowed
- Make sure your screen is not covered by anything
- Video quality doesn't have to be enough great so we can see their name, but needs to be enough great so we can see your tile proof claim of the bingo
- When you send a submission, make sure to mention which tile you completed
- Old videos/pictures are not allowed

Notes for the moderators:
- There shouldn't be any tile where you have to find an inappropriate skin
- There shouldn't be any tile where you have to find someone speaking/mentioning/saying any kind of inappropriate stuff via Minecraft or Discord chat
- There shouldn't be any tile where you have to find someone having an inappropriate username or profile picture via Minecraft and Discord
- There should also be a few tiles that can be done in the CubeCraft Discord server
- If you think there should be more rules or notes needed to be added, then please go ahead and add some
- If you can think of a better name for this Microevent, then please change it to what you think it would be better
