You should make something like PvP arena ( Tournaments ) where everyone is watching the fight ( 2 players fighting ) and when the 2 players are done , other players are invited to participate , if they dont want , they can just watch . Something like that https://prntscr.com/j21zgv

I think this would a fantastic pvp lobby thing. Have like a pit behind the info board (with a barrier dome so no one can jump in). Players will be able to put in their name into the queue and once it is time for them to battle, those two players will be teleported in and everyone can watch them fight.
Basically what you said but in the lobby. There could also be stats and win steaks for it.

@TheBrownster, @Cubecrafty. There could also be different voting options for the arena (Jump Boost, Double Health, OP, Speed, Time Of Day, etc..) But, with a twist, the CROWD VOTES!:):D
