Carved Pumpkins and Hoppers

For some reason my hoppers turn into carved pumpkins after a while of them being placed down. I can change them back by simply breaking them but it’s a bit tedious. Also I can’t seem to carve pumpkins with shears any help would be appreciated (:

For some reason my hoppers turn into carved pumpkins after a while of them being placed down. I can change them back by simply breaking them but it’s a bit tedious. Also I can’t seem to carve pumpkins with shears any help would be appreciated :)

Its enough to tap/left/open their ui to make Hoppera reappear.

I think carved pumpkins are not obtainable, cause there is nothing that indicates a crafting recipe or such
