Resolved Broken quest

I have done what is required to complete the quest "slime time" after grinding for a few hours to collect enough magma cream to upgrade the spawner and it hasn't completeed the challenge, can someone please help

Hello,

Have you tried upgrading the spawner again, or placing the spawner and collecting it again, or leaving the island and coming back? Basically, anything to cause the spawner to refresh to see if it recognises that it's now level 32 to reward you for the quest etc.

To add to the above, when you upgraded the spawner to level 32, were you in the Nether or Overworld?

I was in the nether, I ended up just grinding and doing it to a second spawner
