Hello,

CubeCraft previously had a rotation of game modes, and I believe now is a good time to bring back a similar system, but with a different approach. Instead of limiting it to just minigames like Slime Survivor, Hunger Games, and BlockWars you could rotate through modes like Team Lucky Island, Team SkyWars, Mineware, Tower Defense, Among Slimes, Solo EggWars, Assasinations, and others from CubeCraft's history.

Why This Matters

Many players ask in chat about returning game modes even if only for a week. A rotation would serve two purposes: it brings back modes that players request and gives you concrete data on player retention and engagement for each mode. With this information you can determine which forgotten modes are actually popular enough to bring back permanently with new updates.

The Benefit

This approach gives returning players nostalgia while offering new players fresh experiences. It's a win for both communities.

Technical Considerations

I understand this may be complex to implement. The modes don't need to be updated to the latest version they can remain on their base version, even 1.12, and ViaVersion can be used to allow access while warning players about potential bugs. This would be a test run to gather data without requiring a full rework.

Conclusion

I see this as a way to improve the server while collecting valuable information. If certain modes prove popular, you'll know it's worth rescuing them permanently.

I'd imagine that it's actually not that complex to implement, at least with some of the gamemodes you suggested. Team Lucky Islands was already added and updated with the latest lucky block drops 2 years ago, but they removed it after one month or so. It was probably just a test how well that game mode does, hence why it only lasted around 30 days or so.
Solo Eggwars shop probably could be just copied from the Team Eggwars, and I'm pretty sure that the rest of the gamemode plugins could actually be copied from the Bedrock network. But I'm not 100% sure if it works like this, but I vaguely remember someone mention that they could be copied somewhat easily now from the other network.

Even if they'd like to use it, I don't really think it'd be possible because of backend changes made since 1.19 update. But games currently available on bedrock can be easily ported to Java, e.g. Survival Games, BlockWars, etc. because they're migrated them to GameFramework and only Bedrock related things (e.g. modals, models) need migration.

However games from legacy CubeCraft may require recode, but I'd liek to see Among Slimes again in the future.
