Block the chat bypasses

Hello,

So, this is real simple.
Cubecraft recently made it so people can't say words such as "Noob" or "EZ" and stuff.

The simple thing I would like to see implemented is them blocking the bypasses such as "IZI" or "N88B" or "N00B" etc.
You get my point.

And if they create more bypasses, we should block those bypasses too.

Anyway, that's just what I think :P

People will find a way to bypass the chat filter easily.
They can just /msg you.

Trying to block the many different ways of bypassing the chat filter is much easier said than done. The real issue is that people will constantly find new ways to bypass the filter or find other ways to say it to players (such as /msg) as Spleefyyy mentioned.

There are so many ways to bypass a word that filtering all of them would make chatting impossible.

As stated what Bob said, there is to many ways that people can bypass "noob" or "ez". Eventually people would just find new ways to bypass it. For what it is worth, I think it would just be a waste of time considering that it is just a chat filter for something that even isn't mutable.

I think that you just have to accept and ignore it.

And another thing about blocked words, i'm from sweden and our word for stop is "sluta" which is blocked because you write "slut" in it. So when i write in swedish i have to use other words xd

I feel you, sometimes i have the same issue, but CubeCraft can also add another thing....! Just like if someone said 'Cancer' or 'Pussy' That the player automaticly recieived a warning?

If they block more bypassed words, people will find other ways to bypass. So I don't think this is a good option.

I don't think it's a good idea, there's always a way to bypass it.

Having to continuously add words to the filter will just mean players will find new ways of doing it. Keep that in mind we don't want to block so much that we start preventing players from chatting regularly without having to figure out what they're saying is being blocked from the chat filter.

People will always find ways to go through the filter If they were to continue blocking all bypasses than it would end up to be a club penguin thing where you are only allowed to choose words from a list of words and most words will be blocked. Enjoy the rest of your day :)
