Hello

I was wondering if ranks will transfer from the java to the bedrock versions?
This includes staff aswell

I believe he is asking if ranks will transfer between the different versions of the game. So if you are diamond rank on the Java edition, will you be diamond rank on the Windows 10 edition.

Hello!

At the moment because Xbox Live IDs and Minecraft Java accounts are different your rank won't automatically move over. We're planing on having new and different ranks on the Bedrock platform too. At the moment we have no easy way to transfer them over and no plans to make this. It's not out of the question but at least for the release no, they will not carry over.
