Backpacks assessable by allowing users to place items inside without needing to take more than 1 inventory slot. This could be used for large projects or even if you need to grab iron or cobblestone to fix a certain tool or equipment.
Making them craftable out of string and leather and here it would look like.
This makes the backpack not able to be accessed till reasonable timing within the game but not too far to where its only used by sweats to have one backpack for each item.
Going from hub to hub with backpacks would be amazing as then you can bring backpacks to shrines full of items instead of going from hub to island, and so on.
