Cubecraft | Website - Night Mode

I have made my points and additions into Spoilers to make it much more convenient to read through :).

Have you ever went to Cubecraft's website and spend a lot of time there and notice you get a headache or your eyes hurt after a long night on the forums? Well, I have experienced this a lot and I would like to keep Cubecraft's main website open on my second monitor but the white color of cubes forums are just Blinding at night and hurt my eyes a lot. I end up using a software that turns sites colors into dark themes but it is not the best as it does not blend well with the theme of a lot of sites like cubecraft and I went through all the extensions and they all just do not seem to blend well. Here are examples of how different sites have dark and night modes for their sites.

So I am going to propose that Cubecraft's website developer @andyschofie Work on making an option in your profile drop-down menu at the top right to choose whether Night Mode is enabled or disabled Kind of like the youtube and twitch way of doing it. THis will make at much easier to access as all you have to do is hover over your name at the top right and click night mode which will have a checkbox to show whether it is enabled or disabled. Here are a few examples of how Cubecraft will look like after this has been added. Keep in mind These pictures are not accurate and would be nice if Cubecraft could make it fit more with the theme unlike what I show in the images. These Images are only examples and not exactly what I want it to look like :)

Has already been suggested before, still not implemented. Probably won't be implemented either untill there's a new website.

I think it would be a great idea to include something like a night mode! It would make life easier!

I don't know, its a good idea! But I think it can be in this way... (I never had that experience before... What you said...) but fir people who has it, it can be added ;)

This is true, I could very much learn on how to develop an extension just for cube to make it Dark but I really do not want to go through all the effort of doing something like that and changing all the colors and the giving it out to everyone etc. It will be much more user friendly for cube to add it in, and also there are players that do not use chrome and still have this issue.

Man I wish they added this night mode feature while I'm on the forums at night (like now) my eyes hurt on how bright the screen is and then when I wake up in the morning my eyes feel weird.

Use an addon which allows for custom CSS on certain webpages, +-15 lines should of CSS should do the trick.

I could do it for you if you want me to

I would love to see this suggestion added. probably, if you change to the night theme, the font color will change automatically to white.

It doesn't have to be a high priority, but:
Night mode = must have for any forums-esque media.
I mean, I can name plenty of media where this is being used in a great way, and nobody has ever disliked it. (not limited to the Cube forums)

No matter how many times this is going to be suggested, I will always support this.

A dark theme for the forums would be great!

I prefer darker colours since they are easier on the eyes, and in general looks a lot better.
Having an option for a dark theme in the forums is something I'd love to see.

Please keep in mind, if I really wanted to I can change the site to my liking but there are a lot of other people also on cube and some of them do not use chrome and It would be nice to be available as the same for everyone, Also keep in mind there are people who come on the forums and the reports/appeals website often using their phone which is going to be harder to make an extension for. I am just thinking for everyone on cube :)

I like the way it looks. I would like to see something similar and more improved added into the main site by andy. Does not seem like something hard to do or would take time (Do not quote me on that as I do not know).

Yea that white lines on the reports are very hurtful to my eyes as well xD
