I wanted to bring up the topic of Middle Eastern servers again. Exactly three years ago, on 2023, this topic was heavily discussed, and Hazard gave us a detailed response regarding the limitations at the time.

For reference, the main points holding back ME servers back then were:
The Middle Eastern community on CubeCraft is still massive. We aren't asking for the impossible anymore; we are just asking CubeCraft to utilize the new tools and upcoming locations (like Dubai!) that their current provider has introduced over the last three years.
We would really appreciate an updated response from the network team!

Add Middle East Servers.
Hello CubeCraft, I suggest you add the Middle East Region. It will have a lot of benefits such as most Middle Easterners play with 100+ ms because they live so far away from Europe servers but if you made the Middle East servers most of them will...
For reference, the main points holding back ME servers back then were:
- CubeCraft’s provider (OVHcloud) did not have a data center anywhere near the Middle East.
- Connection issues were heavily tied to submarine cable routing.
- Looking into alternative providers would take at least 2-3 years and require transferring petabytes of data.
1. OVHcloud Officially Lists Dubai on their Roadmap
The most crucial update is that CubeCraft no longer needs to look for alternative providers or transfer petabytes of data. OVHcloud’s official global infrastructure map now explicitly lists Dubai under "New Localizations Coming up." Since OVH is heavily expanding their Edge Computing (Local Zones), a node in Dubai is officially on the way. Is the CubeCraft team tracking this, and are there plans to utilize this Dubai node for matchmaking once it drops?2. The 3-Year Timeline Has Elapsed
In the 2023 response, it was stated that studying network shifts would take "at least 2-3 years." Now that we are in May 2026, the timeframe you asked for has fully elapsed.3. Mumbai (India) is Now Fully Operational
In 2023, OVH’s Mumbai data center had just opened, which is likely why it wasn't considered. Today, it is fully mature. Due to direct submarine cables linking the GCC (UAE/KSA) to Mumbai, the ping from our region is roughly 30-50ms, compared to the 110-160ms+ to Singapore or Frankfurt. If Dubai is still a bit further out, utilizing the existing Mumbai datacenter would instantly cut the Middle Eastern latency in more than half.
