I don't know the Why? but I just want to ask :)
Why can you enter with 1.9 when there is already a 1.11. Why not updating the Server to the current version of Minecraft?
Everyone is Premium so no one should have problems with the versions or things like that.
I am just asking...

I agree that cubecraft should drop 1.9.0 support (might make a thread on reasons why) but for the most part the reason is mods that people have aren't always updated to the latest version so they use the previous version. Also some people play servers that don't support 1.11 yet so they use an older version ♡
