You're asking too much, especially when bridging to campers. If you get near their egg they will pillar up to you to get rid of you.
They "could" bomb it, but as soon as it blows up they would replace it again.
They can do plenty of things to prevent you from bombing their egg from above.

Usually if someone's camping mid, that means they always have access to at least 1 island with a villager.
If people are camping mid, they will try to do ANYTHING to make sure you don't get anything.
Besides, you don't need an egg to camp.

I would vote no. This block would just cause so many problems. Another I am not sure that was recognized was that you can run from people and block a doorway, and there is no way they could follow you quickly, they would have to tnt and wait for it to blow up.
