Anyone have a lot of experience with bad teammates? For example, some teammates just abandon you and not fight with you when you're in trouble instead of even trying to help no matter how much you try to get their attention.

Any advice how to deal with bad teammates in a very sticky, unwinnable scenario?

Interaction :) Talk with your team mates first before any "sticky" situation arises. Make a plan on what you want to do in the game, whether you go hung ho and attack anyone you see, or you hold back and allow other players to do the dirty work and jump in when you feel you may have the advantage.
Communication is key :D

For me, the worst teammates I've had, destroyed my anvil and burned my swords :'( But then after that I said what was that for, and they said they just wanted attention. So make sure ur always taking to teammates , you gotta keep em happy !

You have reminded me of the time when there was no obsidian around our egg and an alex was at the gold generator, camping and buying himself chain armour when we really needed obsidian. We tried to tell him in chat but he didn't listen. As soon as he got -ll of his armour, he tried to go to mid and he fell off of the bridge, losing all of his armour and leaving no obsidian around the egg. We then got rushed pretty quickly and we lost our egg.

The best way to not have bad team mates is to play with friends! :) I've started to play a lot with @Ping_Ether recently on the map Teaparty, on OP mode. Since we started playing, I don't think we've lost a single game (Even a game where there was a fly hacker!). We communicated on discord by voice (which is the best way). It's extremely important that you can talk / communicate with your whole team in chat or voice. Just saying 'Blue Team = English' at the beginning of the game will really higher your chances at winning because you are able to communicate in chat.

Precisely, if you are English and you say blue = nl and u cant speak Dutch it doesn't make you have a higher rate of winning

Done that before. Often times I play as the team leader or supporter, usually the one who delivers the most firepower in the team. If I see a teammate without items and I have spares, I pass the spares to him. Sometimes I may have a better weapon I don't need and pass that to teammates.

@Nikoshka: I've had that issue with a steve teammate in 1 game when I was playing against @Lezappen and a friend of his. Their team was so organized but the steve ditched me in the middle of the game (even running past me when I was in a 1v1!) and I never saw him until I died. He was the last one and got picked off like nothing. Needless to say, since I didn't have a teammate to back me up, let alone the proper tools to take out a team of 4 (their entire team was alive!), I had no chance.

I know I can play with friends, but most cases I have only 1 friend to play with, and that's not often. Even then, if we join a 4-man game, if 2 of the teammates run off and we're up against a well-coordinated team, we're done for unless a miracle happens and/or we have the proper equipment. I've also played with other players who didn't speak the same language as I did but just basic communication (some English) was enough to keep the team together.

Really, I don't understand why teammates want to wander off besides an "extra challenge." Is it just people don't want to cooperate? Then they should play solo. I've encountered an issue like this less often in other team games (TF2, yes, but this game has more incompetent teammates than TF2 or SC2).

If im not playing with friends thenI like to wander off by myself sometimes, if players want to stick together then I'll happily help them out. I just find it a lot of fun taking out teams of players :D This is mostly in survival games. Different when its eggwars/skyward when teamwork is key to winning.

The Orange House
If you're playing eggwars, I'd recommend doing this (assuming that you're good at PvP):

Choose the map Treehouse and pick team orange. Grab 24 iron, 5 for a wood sword, and the rest for blocks. Rush blue, speedbuilding with the egg armour kit. Take out blue's egg and kill all their players. I've done this in about 80 seconds. Go to yellow and purple the same way you went to blue. Now might be a good tim to get some gear, but I don't do this. Then repeat the same blue process for green and red and win!

Money bags is better, 6 extra iron compared to egg armor

But money bags takes a little extra time to get all pieces of armor. For timings, the few extra seconds you have to spend to buy armor can make a big difference.

In team games, the extra iron can make a big difference since the entire team doesn't have a lot of resources right away and players may hog the generator, preventing you from getting the iron you need.

Get friends :)
Here's what I put about getting friends:
I know I can play with friends, but most cases I have only 1 friend to play with, and that's not often. Even then, if we join a 4-man game, if 2 of the teammates run off and we're up against a well-coordinated team, we're done for unless a miracle happens and/or we have the proper equipment. I've also played with other players who didn't speak the same language as I did but just basic communication (some English) was enough to keep the team together.

I put in a post that I don't always have the chance to get enough of them in a group. How do I deal with them alone?
