Hello,
I created the original idea, then @POWER_RANGER improved it a bit.... but it still have some flaws


How to get it?
Being one year or older on the forums, have 1,000 posts and a minimum of 500 likes. You need all three.
Advantages
Bypass the 60-seconds cool-down, but they need to complete a captcha (replaces the cooldown, won't appear if the cooldown is over)




Edit: If someone, for some reason, abuse the rank, the staff (lets say, SrMod+ will have the ability of removing that rank)

Though, some people would still abuse it so staff should be able to remove the veteran rank if needed. ;)

I think it's pretty silly to stay 1 year, arrive at 1k messages and 500 likes and abuse it, but you never know...

I feel like this would happen. Someone will spam, Then the person will make an alt account on forums to like posts and they wait a year. So, sorry -1

Spam and get 500 likes from an alt account and not be noticed? Then wait an entire year to spam a forum only to get banned a day later? Not only that they are limited by the captcha so they couldn't have a bot do it and they would still have to type out the captcha every time they posted a message before the cooldown

Another ilogical answer. Who can be idiot enough to create an account, post 1,000 posts and get an alt and like everything.

God. No need to jump to a conclusion. At the rate I'm going, I'll probably get to you "Veteran rank." I'm just saying that trust is way more important to stats. I'm not saying I'm jealous or I know I won't get it.

This rank is already given to trusted players -staff why would the admins waste their time giving out this rank to people who just want it and they trust manually?

Well, they'd give out this rank because trusted people post a lot of useful information and they could help the server a lot. Also, I think just staff should get this perm thinking about it,,

Hmm possibly... But I like the idea of everyone having a chance at this rank not just friends of the staff. Also Im pretty sure staff already avoid the cool down on forums to do reports :P

Or just add it to every person because i go to school around 7am and i come back around 17:30pm and then i have around 9 alerts and i wanna answer them already but i also wanna answer every other nice thread but i always need to wait 60sec. Or just bring the time to wait to 30secs

This will just improve like farming, message farming, etc. Replying to every bug report saying stuff like "They're working on it" or "Thank you for reporting this, I hope they will fix this soon. :)" is not helping, it's message farming.

I'd support something small like this. But not the minimum of 1k likes and 1k messages. It'd be cool if senior moderators and admins would be able to set someone's rank to Sr. Member, whenever they've helped out a lot, or are just active, anything like that. But not in a way that activity = amount of messages + amount of likes.

Edit: I'd keep the one year old on the forums thingy, can't really farm that. :)

I like your idea more ;) On our server forums we have something like a active member that means that the member need to be active for a half year and then the forums gives you active member
