so heres something that sounds fun, add the voting system to tower defense there would be a few modes

Salvage Mode: this weakens all towers damage capabilities and makes towers upgrades and mobs more expensive

Legendary Mode: this keeps the towers the same but severly buffs mobs to be more tanky this might require the giant removed only for this mode and mobs will be expensive

Sonic Mode: all mob walking speeds are buffed Making them rather speedy, mobs and towers are cheaper

New tower ideas
Snow Fort: spawns snow golems that throw snowballs slows enemies over a larger area
Herobrines Shrine: powers up like the leech and smites a random mob in its range
Power Tower: focuses on one mob at a time, but can deal good damage but is slow

Sounds like a great idea but all of these would be equivalent to hardcore you need to make an op as well to balance it out :P maybe just a gamemode where everything is cheap and the timer is halfed

These are all basically the same. They're effectively all "hard mode" but with different aspects that make them hard. I think Sonic mode is the only one that really appeals to me.

Snow fort sounds like a hybrid of sorcerer and ice tower. Could be neat, I guess. The other two just sound like leach tower clones.

Interesting suggestions, but none of them really blow me away.

Maybe instead of building the snow fort or the other 2 towers, you can combine at least 2 3x3 towers (results in a 6x3 or 3x6) to produce the same result. Also, instead of having new damage-dealing towers, we can have an amplifier tower.

How the amplifier works;
-Tower buffs attack damage, speed, and attack range for nearby towers (6 block range) Upgrading increases only the buffs, not the amplifier's range. Does not attack.
-Size: 3x3
-Price for a fully upgraded amplifier: approximately at least 2/3 the price of a fully upgraded sorcerer (to encourage tactical placement of amplifiers).

For "hybrid towers":

Price of combining: it takes both towers and a small fee (about 500 coins or more?) to produce 1 tower. Upgrades are carried over, if the stand-alone towers had any.

Pros: both effects in 1.
Cons: If the wither skull hits it, it's destroyed completely.
