So I'm aware that recently, the new anti-cheat was plugged into the server for a test drive, and from what I saw personally, it did not perform to expectations. As members, we weren't really given much information on the test, such as what went wrong, and does this test mean our devs believe they are close? It'd be nice to hear a little more often from up top about the progress on projects! I feel like we are often left in the dark and just told to be patient (no worries, I'm not being impatient, just curious, and providing a communication suggestion:)). I'd much rather hear about a bug that appeared that is delaying a project rather than not hear about it at all until it's release. And yes, I know our staff is extremely busy at this time, but I think it'd be rather feasible to provide short updates on what's happening. Thanks!

The issue is that other people would be like HERP DERP PLEASE FIX THIS BUG IT'S SO EASY and then the staff get even more hate. It might not be this way, but that's what I think would happen.

There's already so much of that, I hope actually putting regular updates out would stop some people from doing that so much.

Agreed, I'd like to see updates some times, even if it's just "still fighting that giant bug" or "we're busy with something else right now, slow progress".

Yes, more information about the anticheat would definitely help me out a lot, since I would know what it's capable of and what the bugs are, this would only help me report more hackers. Even if it's a bug, I would still want to know. I agree with this

Partial Support.

For updates such as the new anti-cheat this would be a good idea. The reason I only support this partially is because for updates such as Freebuild, parkour, UHC (etc.) I would rather it remain a secret as to what is going to come because it would spoil the surprise of finding out how it's going to function and look like, once the project is finished. If we got regular updates for projects such as these, then it wouldn't be as mind blowing to when it comes to the final release.

To be honest, I don't like that "You'll have to wait until it gets released and we will give NO reason whatsoever a hint about what we're working on, even though it would be easier saying at what point we are rather than We can't tell you!"
And even though it's not easy to talk about a point as implementing an essential feature might mean re-creating the WHOLE project from scratch, but is it so hard to atleast explain what you're working on? Like, are there gonna be generators in factions? They're working on it, they should know what they're working on, but all we get is "We can't tell you, wait until release"

Like, if people want vanilla-factions and get spawner faction or if people want spawner faction and get vanilla-faction...

But the thing is, even though these are all valid points, the amount of people spamming for every single feature to know, would be insanse.
As you said though, it's just curiosity, not impatience. Are we asking for release dates? No. (Not anymore .-.) Are we curious? OH YEAAAAH BOIIIIIIII

Also... OH THEY TESTED THE ANTI-CHEAT OOOH this explains why I beat two guys with broken killaura :O
Yeah, honestly, I knew there was something going on like, OMG THAT FLYHACKER GOT KICKED FOR FLY!?!?!?!?
It's impressive :p

I dont think they should release infos on how the anticheat works because the earlier hackers know the earlier hack clients will find a bypass.

I'm not saying they should be releasing any specific details. But it'd be cool if they made a pinned post when they started a project and every other day or so let us know if things are going as planned, there's been a delay, etc. That way the rest of us aren't sitting here in utter suspense all the time while we have no idea what's actually going on behind the scenes!

Well, I suggested something like you before, something like a to-do list, so we can see where developers are working on. But people commented things as 'People will say that devs need to work harder, because they're testing it and that means it's alomst done'. I thought that the forums made people be able to help with ideas for the server, but no, Staff is just doing their own thing and keeps saying, stay patient it'll come soon, but we even don't have a clue about what they're doing. I get that everything is more fun when there is an update complete out of nowhere, but why can't they tell things about fixing bugs and making an anti-cheat?

I would like to hear. There was a bug with it where people got false kicked also but I really think we deserve to know what's going on with it regularly, with all this complaining, someone's got to answer in which stage exactly is this anti-cheat that we all talk about.
