I personally like @YounB his suggestion better (https://www.cubecraft.net/threads/assassinations-suggestion-repairing.157613/).
Really cool suggestion, maybe they could make it so you have to pay a certain amount per durability. So if my diamond chestplate is halfway broken and I want to repair it I don't have to pay 75% of the whole price, as it wouldn't really be worth repairing then.
I like that. Say you have 50% durability, you have to pay 50% of the price?

I would say, you can repair your armor at the shop, you'll pay 50% of the normal price.
Would it be better to have it based on how much durability is has left?

Example as you said above: An almost destroyed piece of armor has about 10 uses left. Your example would mean it would cost 50% of the normal price for a full repair. Would it be 25% if the armor has 50% durability?

Another example to illustrate the above: Suppose a piece of armor has 200 durability and costs 500. At 100 durability it would cost 125 but at 0 durability it would cost 250.
