closing minecraft and opening it back=fail

Make sure you are playing on a 1.9 / 1.10 client, with a working premium account. What @hgbf said could also be the issue.

I used to have this problem, I upgraded to SSD & it's fixed now. Not the cheapest thing to do though..

So you have do this steps?

1) click on the search icon on the bottom-left on your screen.
2) search for "run" and hit enter
3) typ ncpa.cpl and hit enter
4) go to Ethernet
5) click on properties (Administrator)
6) double click on "Internet protocol version 4 (TCP/Pv4)
7) change your settings to this:(It's dutch but the same thing)
upload_2016-6-15_19-4-30-png.91272

if that didn't work you can try this (ONLY IF THE PREVIOUS ONE DIDN'T WORK!! (It will change your IP))
1) click on the search icon on the bottom-left on your screen.
2) search for "run" and hit enter
3) typ cmd and hit enter
4) typ in your cmd: ipconfig/all
5) then ipconfig/release
6)and last ipconfig/renew

If the first one AND the second one didn't work didn't work you can reset your modem completely by holding the reset button on your modem or pick a thin thing and put it in a tiny hole labeled "reset".

If that doesn't work you must contact your provider.
