I highly recommend checking out your local shelter for a dog rather than going out and buying one from a pet store. There are a lot of abandoned animals who get put down every day and you'd be giving one of those poor dogs a second chance at life. Who knows? Maybe the dog you're looking for will be there. (It's also way cheaper and you're less likely to be supporting a puppy mill.)

In all seriousness, it looks like some sort of odd Grey Beagle/Retriever mix.

My dog is a Pomeranian/Chihuahua mix, so I don't know much about bigger dogs :P

That is nowhere near a bulldog I´d say. The ears in Cali´s given pic are way different :p Also the nose is longer
I staffordshire bull terrier, looks nothing like a bulldog. Both breeds have a round head with a strong jaw. This a common trait of all dogs who share ancestry with the original bulldogs. However, the Staffordshire terrier has very pronounced cheek muscles, compared to a bulldog.

Its not a staffordshire bull terrier... no way, to me it looks like a brown beagle with ears and the nose.

Yeah we were possibly thinking of getting one from a trusted breeder or a shelter, not a pet store :P Most of the pet stores around here have stopped selling dogs as they cease to support puppy mills.

Yeah, from what I've seen browsing around on Google images, it looks to be a Weimaraner x Retriever. Am gonna leave this thread open to revive it for future questions about breeds but thanks for all the help everyone. xx
