A SERVER RESET
So i've posted something about the lag already.
But now i want to know what YOU people think about a server RESET..
So that everything gets reset, All your islands and stuff..

Why do i think this?
-There's too many items in the game.. (Diamonds, Iron etc..)
-There's a LOT of lag..
-A fresh new start? eh?
-People will work together more to obtain the stuff they had.

Downsides
Though the downsides would be that you might expect a lot of people to complain .-.
But i think there has been more complaints about the lag than there would be after a reset.

Or maybe another option would be (If exists) A plugin that removes abandoned islands that haven't been used for 2-4 weeks.

What if someone goes on vacations? Or has an internet problem? When he joins back he/she'll find that his island disappeared

You're right - there is a lot of lag
You're right - There are too many items
You're right - A new start would be nice

The only rather enormous issue that this would cause is that a lot of players would lose their hard work; do you really think they'd be willing to lose months of their time just to cater to the poorer players?
I made a thread a few weeks ago which highlighted the obvious, perfect solution; a second skyblock server.
If you would like to read about it in more detail, you can view this thread; https://www.cubecraftgames.net/threads/new-skyblock-server.20646/
The idea was to add a second skyblock server to co-exist alongside the current one, to reduce the number of players on the skyblock server that we have now, reduce the number of islands being created, and reduce the number of animals in the world at one time, with the possibility of removing the common clearing of mobs and animals alike, depending on how successful the addition is with reducing lag.
For whatever reason, the thread was ignored by staff and after a few weeks, it was forgotten.
However, with 43 votes for a new server with very little votes against it in the poll, it's safe to assume that it will not only combat lag, but will make people happy.
This is the last time that i will mention the suggestion since it has been deliberately ignored for an unspecified reason, but the option is there if the owners would like to work on it.

Finally, i would just like to add that resetting the server is a complete over-reaction, and that it'd annoy the wide majority of the skyblock community. However, a solution has to be found soon, else everybody is just going to leave anyways, since whenever you manage to join skyblock, you find yourself lagging backwards, and breaking any block without the correct tool proves to be quite a challenge. Things that have already been attempted include the clearing of mobs (something that still to this day annoys everybody), and frequent server restarts (which are very inconvenient and consistent), and yet they don't seem to be doing the trick anymore.

So all the plots will also get reset. NO! i disagree I have loads of plots with I am still working on. Including my Parkour Builder App plot. I have spent a lot of time on them and if this were to happen then all my work over the last WEEK would have been useless

I really do not want a new skyblock server...
